No way anyone believes that…Pitt gets more out of beating PSU than anyone else.

This is true but Pitt wouldn’t have beaten PSU so it’s a moot point.
Without knowing if this has any credibility, I would say BS. If ever there was an opportunity for Pitt in terms of recruiting and bragging rights, this was it.
They were pathetic against an ECU team that played without its starting qb. As is typical of Pitt, they ended up losing three of their last four games. As a program, they’re on a level of a really good MAC school, and that might be pushing it.
Of course we had an easier opponent since Clemson is from the ACC.

The hapless pitters lost to the fifth best team in the American Conference. The pitters are pathetic. At least Narduzzi is consistent. He loses his team near the end of every season.

If you give Narduzzi time, he can lose to anybody in a bowl; he’s now 2-8 in bowls and let’s just say that Pitt usually doesn’t play the best competition in most of their bowl games. With that said, that ECU team, even without their starting qb, just was better than Pitt.
Remember Glov always posting that after a Pirates win...
