We Gotta Have Ya At Penn State: An Open Letter To Wawa
One of our staffers feels passionately that Wawa should make a visit to Penn State.

Sheetz is going open one here in the Dayton, Ohio area. I would much rather have a WAWA.Sheetz are starting to pop up here in Fayetteville, NC. They’re expanding S pretty rapidly.

LOL, yea how "ironic" is that considering Sheetz started in Altoona.I don't have a dog in the convenience store fight but thought this was funny. I'm assuming Wawa doesn't discriminate against poor dental health.
BAD TEETH? NO JOB FOR YOU!!
@Tom McAndrew If the ones Rutters build in Philly are anything like that massive one on Rt 322 in Duncannon across from Sheetz, this is pretty good news.![]()
Rutter's convenience store chain to expand with stores in Philly area
The central Pennsylvania business also plans to open its first locations in Delaware and Virginiawww.phillyvoice.com
Ditto. I swap off between Kroger (discount points for groceries) and Sheetz for my gas. Just wish they had real TastyKakes--around here all you can find are the ones they started making as Hostess imitations (fried pies not baked for example). They've made a huge move into Columbus the last couple years. I'm thrilled with it, because we previously had nothing better than Speedway, which is absolute garbage.

TastyKake baked pies are much better.Hostess fruit pies were so awesome when I was a kid. Apple, blueberry. The best, Jerry! The best!
Which ever one had the glaze on them - OMG.TastyKake baked pies are much better.

I work as an ad writer for Sheetz. Here's our next campaign...I don't have a dog in the convenience store fight but thought this was funny. I'm assuming Wawa doesn't discriminate against poor dental health.

What’s 12 feet long and has 4 teeth?I work as an ad writer for Sheetz. Here's our next campaign...
"What do you get when you have 32 Wawa workers?"
"A full set of teeth."
I think that would apply more to Rutters.I work as an ad writer for Sheetz. Here's our next campaign...

Quiktrip out performs both Wawa and Sheetz. My son described the difference between Sheetz and Wawa as Sheetz has more variety Wawa has better quality. I couldn't disagree from my personal experience.
Viva La Wawa!
This is funny.
When my niece was in high school in Gettysburg, someone asked her what was her favorite restaurant. She replied "Sheetz." Very discriminating taste! On a related note, I had a standing argument with my son who is a '21 PSU grad as to if Sheetz was more of a restaurant or a gas station. I said gas station. He said restaurant.
On one of our trips taking him back to State College, he smugly pointed to a highway sign that listed "Food Next Exit ... Sheetz".
I hate him.
Same with my daughter at Slippery Rock. When my niece was in high school in Gettysburg, someone asked her what was her favorite restaurant. She replied "Sheetz." Very discriminating taste!

Neither Wawa nor Sheetz can hold a candle to Quiktrip out of Texas.Wawa announces major expansion into Central Pa, Tennessee , Florida Panhandle, South Alabama, North Carolina. Ultimately….the multi year national expansion will double the size of the current number of stores As they become more of a nationwide provider vs their current footprint.
Interesting that you mention QT Stores. My youngest daughter works with their Corp Group in HR. Loves working with them….recruited her out of College.Neither Wawa nor Sheetz cab hold a candle to Quiktrip out of Texas.
Great company. Best employees of any of their competitors.Interesting that you mention QT Stores. My youngest daughter works with their Corp Group in HR. Loves working with them….recruited her out of College.
Wawa is building over 60 new stores in Ohio and starting in Cincinnati with several of them.Sheetz is going open one here in the Dayton, Ohio area. I would much rather have a WAWA.
