A thought on Notifications
While I understand the impetus to have notifications come from the app, the app has no granular controls around which kind of notifications I want to receive. And while I trust the IC crew implicitly, my experience with notifications in general does not give me high hopes that On3 will have the same discretion, restraint.
Having y’all run the texts gives me a greater sense of trust that things will work the right way. I deeply understand the incentives to have this through the app as someone who’s intimately involved with app ecosystems.
If you can implement a way for me to control which notifications types I receive, I’m all in. If not, I trust the IC crew much more than I trust On3 as a network.

When you ignore someone, you still see the post, with an option to show the post. You also see the same message when someone quotes that post. Superignore is a feature from the vBulletin software that made the ignored poster and all quotes of it completely invisible. It's as if it was never there.
It is not native to the XenoForu software here so it was developed by another site we know as an addon. It creates some thread layout issues though if a long conversation gets pruned out, which might be harder to deal with on a large volume site.
someone requested a thumbs down be added to the reaction list to replace the old down vote feature.
Not a huge deal, but the ability to refresh the page by pulling down in the app, similar to the browser experience, would be a huge convenience for people who only use one hand. I know there's a refresh button on the top and this seems silly, but it's kinda a hassle and it's a natural inclination at this point with our phones to simply pull down in most apps as well as browsers.
You may want to ask On3 to disable the attach files feature that’s below the text box.
It generally just confuses users in how they upload images and there would be very few instances where someone would want to upload something here that you guys would want to be uploaded.
If a user is trying to share a Word document or something with another user, they could post a link to Google Drive or whatever else.

Could be user error but the app only appears to support recruiting selections to 2026 while the web versions support through 2029.

Dark mode is not working for me on the app (forums only). Everything else is dark mode, but the forums are still white background

If you click on Forums in the top right of the app, go to the very bottom where it says preferences, what is the style set to? Is it dark? If not, select that and see if that helps.
Unfortunately, the app has a dark mode and the forums have a dark mode. On3 would need to tweak the app but it would help if they inherited each other‘s changes.
If On3 is now a subscription site, why did IC retain free boards and premium boards? Aren’t they all the same?

I’m getting used to the News Feed as a replacement for alerts for posts by follows. But…it would be nice to have a way to delineate between old posts you’ve already seen versus new posts. Otherwise, you always have to scroll down until you get to a post that you think you may have already seen.
Found the hard way the Chrome doesn't like On3 login, but Safari (on a Mac) is silky smooth!
Click the name of the forum in the breadcrumbs below and above the thread and that serves the same purpose
There are free boards just as before. You shouldn't need a subscription to post there.
I'm a longtime Chrome user. What doesn't Chrome like on your login? Do make sure you have no ad blocker or Chrome extension that could be interfering.
I'm not sure if these have been brought up, but love on the old forum how you can see threads you've posted in and then how many posts have been made in a thread since you posted/viewed it last.
Would love to have an easy way to see how many up votes or down votes a post or comment has. This was a quick way to identify important comments.
On a thread with multiple pages, the next button is black until I click on it. Once clicked on it turns blue and I can see the word next. But otherwise, I just see a black box surrounded by arrows.
In addition to the staff post thread filter, it would be awesome to have a followed post thread filter that strictly shows the posts of the board members each individual follows.
I'm now experiencing a thing where I click on a post, start to read it and then immediately get diverted to some spam Spectrum site. That may be a function of the fact I use Spectrum for internet, but I thought I'd report it since I'm not getting that on other sites.
Are you using an ad blocker? If I had to guess, the ads on here are creating an opening for your browser to be hijacked so to speak. Unfortunately, they lean heavy into the ads so it allows a lot of opportunity for malicious stuff to happen.

i would like to see the recruiting board in the table format. Also to have the recruiting board (table) show where the players would be year wise when you go from 2025, 2026 etc
Please use a forum font that isn't condensed. It's a cool font and great in small doses, but it takes more effort to read than what many other common fonts take. Thanks!
Can we please get Buck’s article/staff articles embedded within the Thread? It’s becoming highly annoying to have to click the Thread and then click into another link within the thread just to read the content.

When you select the “hamburger menu” in the top left of the screen on a mobile phone, it pulls up this menu:
When I make a selection there (ex: FB Recruiting —> Commitments), then you pull up the same “hamburger menu” from the subsequent page, it shows you a different menu, like this:
@BenSherman, could we make the IC menu persist rather than it switching to the generic On3 menu? In this case I wanted to first look at our football commitments, then go to Transfers, but because the menu changed I had to navigate back to IC to do that, which seems like an unnecessary step to have to take.

Is there a one-click option to get from News Feed to Forums? There is no menu for that, and it appears that the menu available requires you to search for UNC among the fan sites.
Can there be an option to see only "staff posts" on threads. that really helped me, especially with long threads that I did not have time to read through it all
