Back by popular demand...................It's opening day. I must admit that I'm a bit out of the loop these days, but I still love high school football, and I especially love upsets. Last year I had a less than stellar record with only 5 correctly picked upsets. But................... this is my year baby.
For opening weekend I'll be piking one of the top games of the weekend. This weeks upset is...... The #22 ranked Hawks of Maine South over the # 11 ranked Class 6a State Champion Broncos of Montini. The game is at MS, and I believe that unlike last years 20 - 17 loss, the Hawks will be ready for this one. Should be a great game. That's this weeks upset. What are your thoughts, and who is your upset?

I like Pats too. Not expecting much from the Mustangs this year.

I like Montini this week. My upset this week is West Chicago over Wheaton Academy!

I think Montini will roll. I like PC over ESL. Not sure if that would be considered an upset.

I hate this pick...but i'm a MCHS fan. i'm going with IC over Bishop Mac a little revenge for last years twin loses Rowell runs wild and brings home a win

Orange Whips......... Rice should beat the hell out of Marist. I'm hearing that this is once again the "Greatest team in Br. Rice history "

I'll go way out on a limb and say Downers South beats Homer-Flosswood

Congratulations Feeto, I can't remember the last time Montini took a loss like this. It is going to leave a mark. Another upset was ACC over AC, Cat Box what happened?

Excellent work Feetster.

My pick was amazing...I only missed by 51 points. I guess Homer Flosswood still has some players. Yikes
