This weeks upset is .......the #7 ranked Vikings of Homewood Flossmoor over the unanimously #1 ranked world beating Griffins of Lincoln Way East. That's right, it's time for a new #1. This is a game for the ages, and I love the Vikings at home tonight. All HF does is score points (averaging over 50 per game) They also play serious defense allowing less than 2 touchdowns per game (and that's with a huge amount of time for the 2nd team). LWE was down 14 - 0 in the second quarter last week. If they let HF jump on them like that this week, the Vikes will run away from them. I think HF is too fast for the Griffs, and the home field will be good for 6 points. I like the Vikings tonight. Final score.......HF 28 - LWE 21. That's my upset. DSR is based on the previous weeks, and doesn't necessarily indicate the best team overall. Also, spreads and rankings are not directly correlated.
At H-F, I see this as maybe a pick'em, but probably closer to H-F -2. Mild upset at best.
