1.we don't have a coach. 2.we are the worst defensive team in the conference, period. 3.Riley benock, really how does he see the floor? 4.we don't do anything fundamentally good, and that goes back to coaching. 5.we will be lucky if we make the NIT.

Honestly. It's funny to watch people with no clue get on here and say the most outlandish things.

1. is debatable. Anyone who has ever coached anything will tell you getting talent is half (or more) of the battle. So, Stans has mastered that aspect. The rest of the job duties are certainly debatable.

2,4 are correct. I have never seen a team shoot so many off balance, 25ft 3s early in the shot clock in my life. We don't nothing on defense to cut off drives to the basket or cut off passing lanes to deny a shooter the chance to receive a pass.

I could not imagine the 3pt% this team could shoot if they were patient, ran an offense, and got better, controled shots. This team would be a NCAA team if they played any defense.

We are the only team in the country that subs like a hockey line change.we for some reason can't put another big man in the lineup with varnado ever.ravern is the laziest defensive player iv ever seen and rick just continues to sit on the bench and never get in anyones face.he has always been a "favorites" coach and if u aren't one of those like randy stewart or benock you don't see many minutes.not overreacting just wish we would try to actually install a half court offense sometime this decade.

Like I said on another post, you don't see UNC or Duke line-changing and their benches are filled with McDonald's All-Americans. UNC seems to be able to run up and down the floor the entire game.Maybe the coaching and conditioning there is just a tad better?

So you are saying Roy Williams is a better coach than Stansbury? Wow, you think so? Who knew?

I read an article about their basketball team's conditioning drills which was pretty interesting. A big part of their conditioning is using medicene balls and they do these exercises a ridiculous amount of reps- like 1,000 reps of all these exercises day after day after day. At first thier players are like, "This is no big deal" but after about 400 reps, it starts to wear them down.

So, yes, their conditioning is better, but so is their talent, and yes, their coaching is better to.

But you comparing MSU to UNC would be like me comparing MSU football to Southern Cal football.

There are always different aspects that can be improved, but we are still a fairly young team. We have talent, just didn't really seem like everybody was on at the same time. I really thought this year was going to be a lot better than it ended up being.

we don't compare to UNC on any level. This isn't the point. Our substitution scheme is ridiculous. Conditioning and team discipline, like being able to run a half-court set, can be accomplished anywhere. Point being I don't want to hear the excuse of having to rest all of our starters at the same time when their are teams that run fast-paced offenses that don't do what we do.

These guys keep getting time and doing nothing. Auburn has a center who shoots 43% free throws coming in and he makes 80+%. We are simply not that good but I still think we finish 2nd in the west. Won't mean much unless we make a run in the tourney but we looked like a tired team today and it wasn't because we didn't play lots of folks.

UNC may not do "line changes," but they generally play 9-10 players every night. They have like 8 McDonald's AAs on their team, and the offense that Williams runs is more fast paced than anyone else in the country. I'm not seeing the point you're trying to make, but you're posts are filled pretty uninformed so you got that going for you. Keep it up. You really add to the quality of the board.

We compare to UNC on several levels... If you would like to take a look at stats, here they are...

three stats

And, by the way, you are an idiot... Please don't let the door hit you in the ***...
