The idiocy knows no bounds.
That said, college basketball as a whole, has been hard for me to watch for 15 years.
Caliparri, the NBA, “G-leagues”, the NCAA, and now the NIL have torpedoed the fundamentals of what used to be a fun sport at MSU.
In the 90s I could just about name every SEC starter and that was when most of our games weren’t even the JP game of the week. Now I couldn’t tell you who the top 5 scorers are in the league. It’s just not that fun anymore.

Might as well throw the basketball money at football also. Get rid of either the basbeball or basketball programs and we definitely don't get the SEC tv money. That makes sense. Then we can compete with the Bamas of the world. *****
