Here we are again the final week of the 2016 season. Man where has the season gone? But anyway a little over a year ago I posted who I thought would be in the final 4. And it was pretty spot on now that list had a couple changes over the final weeks of the season. But I'm here again to pick a FINAL 4. Right now I really think the top 2 in the East and West are legitimately the top 4. I know upsets are very possible and pretty likely. But as of right now (subject to change ) lol this is my FINAL 4.
RH vs GW
Sussex vs Galax
This is mine but what is yours? Oh p.s I think if Essex can fix a few things they can make noise.

I think Hurley is tied at two. That game with GW would be a 50-50 game until we see what they are doing to some playoff teams. Plus who didn't think Blaster was going to put GW in his top 4. They will lose to Riverheads if it comes to that.

If you say so haha I've ate crow before so if and that's a massive if we get beat before the semi's I'll eat it just fine. But trust me you better be worried about PM cause it looks like that oh so amazing schedule is gonna net a 10-0 team the 3 seed. So if and again that's a massive if you get by PM I hope you enjoy that long trip up to GW. I hope with everything in me that we meet up round 3 you will finally see what a championship caliber team looks like. You haven't played a team all season who could even compete with 90% of jv teams so Rd 2 will be the 1st good team all year. Good luck with that I hope you win 8 really do.

No argument here anyone who even slightly knows me knows I will never pick against GW. But anyone who has seen GW this year when they are on knows for a fact they are on a different level.

Will wait until tomorrow when hopefully someone has the unofficial brackets before I give mine. Definitely will be some interesting games on both sides of the state though and I think there will be a few upsets at least by seeding on both sides if things stay similar to what they are now

How am I full of s@#t? What have I said all year that hasn't proven to be right? Really what have I said that hasn't been pretty damn close to right? All of my scores with exception of the Galax game have been pretty close. I said before the season started that Galax and GW would be the 1 and 2 seed come playoff time and they will baring any crazy upsets. So again like I tell anyone else come back with facts not a ton of pissy crybaby BS. You or anyone else who doesn't like what I have to say because it's to blunt or isn't PC. Can head directly to your nearest Walmart supercenter and grab you a big ole tube of Preparation H for that sore butt hole.

See the thing that I really don't get is 99% of Hurley fans come after me and me alone. Which I really don't mind but I'm not the only one doesn't think they are at the top. I've seen a few people just flat out dog em but I'm the bad guy haha. Oh well I think I'll live.

I agree with you G master but Altavista and Lunenburg scares me.

If G master's top 4 makes it Riverheads goes to Galax and GW comes to Sussex. G master dont believe what they say about us.

Hey man there is no pre judgments here I'll meet the good people of Sussex if GW is luck enough to make it that far. And we will all watch a hell of a game between 2 of the top dogs in this fight. Best of luck the Tigers the rest of the way.

These conversations are priceless lol. But seriously ANY team can be beaten! I will be pulling for my TIGERS but it will not be as easy as people think. Without Amari Hill it seems like the home team has lost a step. Even though they finished 10-0(sounds crazy right?) it will be a battle week in and week out if they are lucky. The year when Sussex finished 9-1 Altavista came to Sussex and almost pulled out the victory. It came down to like the final two drives or so. Good luck to everyone and let the best two teams meet in Salem!

G master if we are lucky enough to still be playing...you should come out here early...i would love to take you to some of the fun spots out here. Great family seafood place not too far from us called "the croaker spot"...you and your folks will love it. Or we could go after the game i promise if you come this far its a place you want to eat. The food is ridiculous and i guarantee you will have to take to go plates back with you.

Yeah man if all falls into place I'd definitely be down to check it out. I love seeing new places and I love food haha. Sounds like a plan to me.

Yeah man I go there all the time the just put a new croaker spot in Norfolk VA. but the one in Petersburg is the best I was talking to someone from riverhead a couple of weeks ago when Sussex played Greensville he was coming down to watch the game I told him to go to either the mayflower in Roanoke rapids NC or for him to go to the croaker spot in Petersburg for the best seafood in the area.

The Croaker Spot is GREAT!!! The first time I ate there was back in 2005ish at their 1st location in Richmond. LOVED IT!!!! Took 2 of my cousins from New Jersey there back in August. They said when they come back down for homecoming at church next August, they wanna go back there to eat. Lol. I think they opened a spot in the Fredericksburg area not to long ago also.

Mayflower and Croaker Spot are my top 2 seafood places. They give you so much food.

Now that I look back GW has played 8 playoff teams between 1 and 2 A and only lost to 1 of them. 8 teams out of a 10 team schedule isn't bad. And GW absolutely destroyed 7 of those 8. People can doubt us all they want but GW and Galax are on a different level. Time will tell who is for real and who looks good but isnt. Best of luck to everyone

Essex has 8 out of 10 teams they played in the playoffs too and only played one team with a worse record than 4-6 and that was the game this past Friday. Hopefully being battle tested will help

Im excited for all the kids participating in this years football playoffs. Love this time of the year. I pray each game is determined by play and not by the VHSL officials.

I can assure you all Essex is thinking about right now is William Campbell. Can't worry about the 2nd round until you win the 1st

I was apart of that Altavista team that year that was tough loss for us our coach had a slight heart attack at half time and that just deflated us.
