Maybe it’s just me but 8A looks a little too heavy, and that’s only about 3/4 teams that jumped off the page at me. Maybe my Eagles can finally get back competitive 
For the Sandhills I can see Richmond, Hoke, Pinecrest, Jack Britt, Lumberton, and Purnell Swett in a split 7A/8A conference
8A: Hoke County and Pinecrest
7A: Richmond, Britt, Overhills, Lumberton, Swett, Pine Forest, and Cape Fear

if nchsaa wants to do what south carolina does with the six team conference you would have:
8a: Hoke County and Pinecrest
7a: Richmond,Purnell Swett, Lumberton, Cape Fear
plus we don't know what they are going to do or they could do what they done in the early 80s
Enjoy the playoffs this year, starting next year it will be a snooze fest. 8 classes ruins NC football in my opinion. These past 4 years with only 4 classes has made nc football much more enjoyable late in the year. 8 state champs is way too much.
Agree 100%. The best matchups will be played out on message boards and social media.
I think DB and StP will be group within a 4A/5A with Red Springs, Fairmont, Clinton
That was one of my alternative ideas, but who will be the 6th member?
