So Graham barely survives Glenvar, but Graham blows out Strasburg a week later, who barely got by Poquoson the week earlier..... and Glenvar is ranked 4th?

Maybe they should ask Graham players this this year and Radford players last year who their toughest game in 2A was against? Just a thought. lol

Not sure where to place Strasburg, V-High and Lebanon in region D could compete with them, IMO.
(Very close 2nd between Glenvar and Union).

Strasburg beats V high . Strasburg- Lebanon is prob first one to 35. Glenvar beats Strasburg . The pass defense and defense alignment of Strasburg was just not championship level . Union prob beats Strasburg . Union prob beats Glenvar also . My opinion .

Glenvar vs Union would have been a fun one to watch. Union is one dimensional, but good at it.

Strasburg beats V high . Strasburg- Lebanon is prob first one to 35. Glenvar beats Strasburg . The pass defense and defense alignment of Strasburg was just not championship level . Union prob beats Strasburg . Union prob beats Glenvar also . My opinion .

I think Strasburg would have absolutely gashed Lebanon and VH on the ground. VH didn't throw it well enough to expose Strasburgs passing defense and Strasburgs DL would have lived in the VH backfired. Lebanon did throw it well enough to expose Strasburgs pass defense, but that would be overcome by Strasburg living the backfield against a weak Lebanon OL and Strasburg might not have punted against Lebanon as they would have ran for 10 yards per carry. Just my opinion. Glenvar and Union are different beasts though.

Yea I’m prob being too nice with Lebanon and Va high … that run game for Strasburg was top notch but Graham just had a plan and they have the dudes to push back. Glenvar got blown out by Alleghany during the season and Alleghany is run heavy as well . But Strasburg wouldn’t have had an answer for the accuracy of Dawyot . No chance

Glenvar was a much tougher opponent than Strasburg in my opinion. They definitely should rank higher. I don’t think Strasburg would have beat Glenvar. Strasburg/Union possibly toss up. Glenvar/Union , I’d give the nod to Glenvar. Dawyot is just so dang accurate. He’s hard to stop but I dare say, Graham gave him the hardest fight he’d been up against last season. Just like I think Graham gave Radford a better fight the year before than Riverheads did. 2023-Graham or Radford was going to win in Salem / 2024 Graham or Glenvar was going to win. 2025, who knows? I wouldn’t be surprised to see a Union/Glenvar match up or even a Graham/Glenvar match up. Radford might sneak in , at this point it’s hard to say.

Glenvar had a solid team and will be solid again. One thing to keep in mind with Glenvar vs Graham is that Graham had 2 starting defensive backs out in that game according to Graham fans. It mattered also as Graham got caught on two passes for TDs where the Graham defender had good position (athleticism was there), but poor technique (youth). Credit Glenvar for about beating Graham up there, but they didn't catch Graham at full strength, especially the defensive backfield for Graham and Glenvars strong point was the QB and they throw it well, so it was the perfect set of circumstances or match up for Glenvar for that one game.
