This is more stupidity and creative rearranging of history and of course doesn't address Brown's total failure. In the final year, WVU lost by 4 points to OU. Would have played for the BIG 12 CCG had they won that one and probably made a major bowl. Hardly a "choke" since WVU was facing a playoff participant. Guess you also forgot Grier and several other players decided not to play in the bowl against Syracuse? Or that Syracuse was ranked in the top 15 that year? Yeah, history is alot different if you leave out little facts like those. DH only failed to win 7 games or MORE one time. He would easily have done the same last year. The only thing lacking that final season was a great defense. But there were about 20 players Brown chased off that had contributed to that 2018 season, and several new recruits that were promising coming in. WVU would have been right back competing for the league instead of last in the P5 in rushing and scoring only 14 points per game as they managed under Brown. WVU was not at "scratch", so there was no need to "build from scratch". Brown pushed out a bunch of players and brought some in that he also failed to prepare for major competition. Now this year, WVU is on a similar trajectory. Still inadequate offensively and still on track to have a .500 or worse season. There is nothing to indicate improvement in WINS is on the horizon and Brown is never going to get an easier season in the BIG 12 when even the top teams are a bit down. Next year will be year three, WVU can't have a Kragthorpe losing for three straight seasons going into the realignment to come--next year will be essential for Brown to continue, otherwise AAC here we come. You were wrong about Holgorsen and are wrong about Brown. But you are about worshipping a certain type of coach, not seeing WVU succeed. I'm sure the actual administration and donors will see things a bit differently should year three continue with the same trajectory.
