This actually is not completly far fetched, but if the following happened, we will be the solid third place team in the SEC, have four top 50 wins (more than all bubble teams currently) and a complete lock for the tournament. (listed in order of importance)

1. MSU beats AU and UT.
2. Ole Miss beats LSU and ARK (gets Ole Miss back in the top 50)
3. FLA loses to Vandy and Kentucky*
4. UT loses to Arkansas**

* - To finish in 3rd, Florida would need only lose one of their remaining games. However, losing two would put MSU a full game ahead of Florida.
** - To finish in 3rd, Tennessee only needs to lose to MSU. A UT loss to Arkansas would allow MSU to finish a full game ahead of Tennessee.

If this happens, SEC Tournament probable run would be Florida, Vandy, Kentucky (a chance for two additional Top 50 wins)

If Florida were to beat Vandy or Kentucky, UT would likely be the East 4 seed, giving MSU a chance for three additional Top 50 wins, but facing Tennessee in Nashville five days after beating them is not preferred when you could face Florida.

I don't think this is right. If Florida and UT tie for third at 11-5 (with Vandy at 12 wins after beating SC and losing to UF), Florida would be the 3 seed after going three deep into the tiebreakers. They split with UT, and would have the same division record, and would both have a win over UK. UF would own a win over VU while UT would not.

If UF and UT finished tied at 10-6 or 9-7, UT wins the tiebreaker because of better division record and would be the 3.

Florida is a longshot to be anything other than the 4 in my interpretation and opinion of what will happen.

I think the first six games on your scenario are possible and definitely the way I will be cheering. I don't care about UT/Ark. If UT wins, then they're a little better RPI win for us.

the scenario playing out where we end up being an 8 seed. So, I'm voting for us to barely sneak in at a 12 seed instead.
