That head collision was a little scary, but glad he finished it off in match two rather than needing a third. Spencer scored all 12 points in that match himself, his propensity to give up fours of his own accord is frustrating but he usually finds a way to come back.

Yes, Snyder's last domestic loss was Jake Varner in 2016. Buchanan has now beaten 2 Olympic champs this year, I'd say that's pretty good for his first year.

Snyder has too much experience and too much man strength. Overall, Buchanan had a great 1st year in freestyle. Hard to believe Snyder has been on the world team every year since he was 18. That’s why it seems like he is 40 instead of 30.
