Appreciate the love but the guy puts me to sleep. His interviews are solid but he has zero personalty.
One thing that stands out about him is that he has a lot of informative contacts about just what the hell is going on. He is eerily reliable about predicting coaches' firings and hirings. Otherwise, he just has to be taken with a grain of salt on most things.
I've been listening to him for several years now and I'll say this: when he gets "on board" with your program, he is on board. I listened to him get on the Auburn bus early in the Cam Newton year and ride it all the way to the end. He predicted them to win it all and it drove the Bammers nuts, even though they made up 75% of his audience at the time.
