Being a Nebraska fan is like the water-drinking bird toy from the 90's. Just when your heads under water you pop back up for air until you bleed enough red working it's way into your head and back down to the water dish yah go.
I bet. It's pretty simple. Which teams don't have valleys? And why does Nebraska seem so different that it shouldn't happen here? Nebraska hasn't been above and beyond other programs since 2001.

All I will say is Alabama isn't a good team because recruits loved Bear Bryant. They play there cause it's a winner and gets them in the NFL.

Yeah, but would that top guy have come? Would he have really been able to maintain the way it was back then? Sometimes a top coach can go somewhere else and not do so well.

Okay? No one said Nebraska is the same as Toledo. Now, how is Nebraska different then other great programs through the years? You seriously have some idea that they are just supposed to be better, when the fact is not the same.
