he says knowing Bobby Petrino, he's going to want to get the hell out of Louisville without Jurich. Finnebaum is a fing weasel that I want to step on his skinny neck.
I doubt he knows Petrino. I doubt he knows anybody. Or anything.

He ought to worry about injuring someone walking by him with those 2 frying pans attached to the side of his bony head.

He’s a pinheaded jerk and I doubt he knows CBP. But unfortunately he is correct. Our coaches in every sport stay because of Jurich; most have made that clear. They will begin leaving when the offers come if we don’t select a good AD. And maybe even if we do. That’s the consequence of letting Jurich go.

If Petrino and Jurich are gone that opens the door wide open for Brohm to return to save the day. I'd like for TJ to stay and reach out to Jeff and bury the hatchet; if Petrino bolts which, let's face it, is probably in the works.

Actually the Brohm angle is probably what will save the FB program if Petrino bolts. And I’m fine with that. Heck truth be told we could be better off. The other programs aren’t so fortunate. If and it’s a big IF Jurich were to stay Petrino wouldn’t leave, but if he did Brohm as I understand wouldn’t return. Apparently the Jurich’s and Brohm’s had a falling out.

Yeah I know Jeff and TJ aren't on good terms Jurich wasn't on good terms with Petrino either before he returned. For Brohm to ride back into town on a white horse to save UofL might be too sweet for him to carry any grudges.

Is our "interim" leadership going to up the money for top coaches?

Athletics is not on their radar.

They may be happy with TV, and ACC money and not give a rat if anybody attends games.

They've wanted their hands on the AD money ever since he came in.

I disagree with Finnebaum that CBP is in "high" demand right now. The thrashing by Clemson and the loss to LSU in the bowl game are proof of that. You have to prove there's a better job right now available. South Carolina would probably love to have him.

What if Jurich gets hired somewhere else and then hires all of his coaches back??? I could see it

I think Petrino could end up at Tenn or South Carolina, or Texas AM. He has a perfect out if Jurich is gone based on his contract and even morally.

Bring in Brohm!

No Jurich survives this, and no way he would be hired elsewhere. He's toast, done. The accumulation of trash that has resulted under his watch is rather tall. And the NCAA has yet to weigh into this matter.

Doubt BP leaving anytime soon unless it was a higher profile school with more $$$ for him. Nor do I think any schools that meet that criteria are interested in BP.

First of all, piss on Finebaum, what a frigging Dbag.. 2nd of all, why would he want to leave ? We're in the ACC Now, we've been in 3 college game day games in the last 2 years, we have games with National powers Clemson and FSU on a yearly basis, we started the season a couple years ago with Auburn, next year with Alabama. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that..
3rd of all, By all accounts he's been a model citizen since coming back, what does he have to worry about with TJ being gone ?

What makes anyone think that Brohm would want to come back to a school that is in the mess that UofL is in right now.

Better to let the dust settle....right the ship....succeed at Purdue and build your own program up in the B10.....than in 4-5 years...name your price to whatever P5 school that needs to succeed like you just made Purdue do....or stay and revel in the hard work you just did at Purdue.

Be loyal to the school that gave you your shot at the big time. Oh no....what a novel idea that would be....and get to play Michigan, OSU, PennSt, MSU, Wisconsin, and the rest of the big boys on an annual basis.....could be this is his dream come true.

And for those of you that say he has Louisville in his DNA and would want to come back home......Purdue ain't that far away. And they have not a hint of corruption at that school as of today.

Only Brohm knows what he would do if given the opportunity to coach in the future at UofL. So be it.
