I try to stay behind Rick, but damn. Year after year it seems like his problem spots as a head coach keeps getting magnified. I remember when we had Roberts, Winsome and Co, we still had the same criticism as we do today. Still have no offense, just run down take a shot and hope someone was mistakenly close to the rim to get the rebound, or not. Which ever. Exception: Shane "the Hair" Powers. That guy played pretty good fundamentals.

winning the sorry *** West in a fourth rated conference, or should we just want to stay the same and never get better than where we are currently. Unlike some of you guys on this board, there are a great deal of people outside the Pack that think RS has plateaued as the HC in Starkville. These young coaches that were assistants under the likes of Pitino and Donovan are going to be successful in the future. Why you ask, because they can recruit just as good as we can, but they actually have an offensive playbook and they aren't afraid to change gameplans during a game instead of doing the same ol'**** year in year out. Any coach that has to get his team prepared for us just has to watch some film from the last 5 years, defend the perimeter, don't double team in the post, crash the boards, and even play the "dreaded Zone" - game, set, and match.

Rick, if you happen to be reading the Pack, make some changes on the bench, or you and Mark Gottfried ar going to doing games together after you are sent to speech and English class.
