This is inexcusable. He won’t be fired. But it’s inevitable. There’s no coming back from this.
How many straight weeks of “there’s no coming back from this” can you have?

There may be coming back from this in a vacuum but not after last week. I’m a huge sunshine guy but pull the plug. Something is rotten.
The problem is that we are 0 for our last 16 in the SEC. Over 3 years since our last home SEC win. Headed towards a 2nd straight 0-8 season. You can’t lose that game in the 4th quarter like that. You have to get it done. And he didn’t. He’s not going to have the fan support in tickets and NIL to turn this around.
We could have said this after the Toledo game.

I agree. We were saying the same on hutz last season. We just need some players. Thompson and fluff are beasts. Depth is killing us. I think what we get out of the portal this year tells us if lebby will last or not.

We will lose a large chunk of the good players we have. And we will get squat out of the portal to replace them. You have to have a huge NIL war chest to do that.
Imagine you have deep pockets. We’ve just gone 0-8 in the SEC again. And this circus act shows up at your door wanting you to dig deep and give sacrificially to buy another roster for a year after you just laid this big of a turd. There’s no SEC caliber portal haul coming.
Dumbest take I've seen, with any MS HS 7A coach managing the game we win this game and likely at least one of TN/UF. Certainly talent isn't the issue.

I agree to an extent. He needs to mature but it shouldn’t have been at State. Hell it took Kiffin 20 years and several failed stints as a head coach to get to this point. We can’t be a training ground anymore
Anyone that wants to fire him this year is anti MSU to the core and has no common sense at all. I doubt you have enough sense to get in out of a hail storm. I said it and I’ll stand by it.
