With the transfer portal nobody has any idea what next year's roster will look like. We could be top ten or bottom 200. It's a year to year crap shoot.

The portal is great if you need 2-3 players. Not sure much if you need 10. At least not with our budget.

Lemonis really hasn’t been a savant when it comes to the portal.

Seriously though - who is the coach responsible for baserunning? Is it Cheese, or Geautreau or Lemonis? Because to still be making multiple blunders this far into the season is just asinine. I'm mostly ok with a couple of guys (namely Mershon) being given a universal green light to run as he sees fit, but there is no reason why our freaking catcher should ever be so aggressive on the basepaths to get caught in a rundown.

Ultimately, it's Lemonis. It's always the head coach. Now, it may be Cheeseburger too (that seems to be the consensus), but it's always the head coach.
