I know it comes as no surprise but she has done an absolutely ****** job this year. She returned an entire NCAA tournament team and has gotten plastered by 20+ every time they have played even a half way decent team. Of course, I have no idea why we even have women's college hoops. There should just be a best of 7 series between UConn and Tennessee every year and just skip the regular season.

They went to some tournament in the Caribbean early on and lost all 3 games they played.

in La Tech and Maryland.

Its not all that bad. They are 3-3 in conference with a win over Top 25 Vandy.

But they have gotten blown out by the better teams for the most part. But that's women's basketball. Beating teams ranked ahead of you is just rare.

The same Florida team that Bama (the dreg of the conference) beat by 25 last night.

...have really hurt this year's team. Tysheka Grimes, one of our top 2 players has been out for about 4 games with a leg injury. Marneshia Richard, who was supposed to return as the starting PG, tore up her knee again and hasn't played at all. The team, right now, is just 6 deep; Rima Kalondo does provide some depth at C. Losing Tysheka Grimes, though, has really hurt. Fr. Ashley Jones, last year's Florida Gatorade Player of the Year, is fundamentally sound, but is just too slow.

The team is 12-7 overall, 3-3 in the conference

And the wins over Maryland and Vanderbilt are very legit

On the other hand, the losses to Ole Miss and Florida are brutal

Team should still win enough games (aka bad teams in the SEC) to make the NCAA Tournament

...I can't believe that you want to fire the winningest coach in MSU Women's basketball history. I guess going to the NCAA tournament last year is not enough for some people. We have the dumbest fans in the history of sports.

...they stock the team full of hot girls that swing both ways and wear skimpy uniforms? That's pretty much the only scenario I can think of. I just can't get excited about women's basketball. Soccer I could watch girls almost as much as guys, and fastpitch softball I can appreciate as a real sport, but I just can't in basketball. The difference is just too stark.

Being the all time winningest coach in women's basketball at MSU is like being the all time winningest coach in men's basketball at Ole Miss. It just means you are the best out of a bunch of sucky coaches. The point is that she returned the entire team from last year and has already lost 7 games. She had two of the greatest women's players in state history in Tan White and LaToya Thomas and did nothing with them.

they could trot out 5 susan boyle look alikes and I'd show up for every final four.

I'd even fingerbang the top recruits if it meant they'd come play for state

....and you would too.

I wouldn't go if you gave me a free ticket and twenty bucks. I'd fingerbang the recruits though. That's the thing about high school girls... I get older, they stay the same age.

I'm not sure you're setting yourself apart from Coach's critique of our men's program yet.

you guys, meaning Hanmu especially, just stuck a big fat dick into the Stansbury argument. How can you possibly want to fire her yet think Stansbury is untouchable? MSU Tittydawg basketball couldnt spell NCAA Tourney before her. Its only because of her that we have expectations of the Tittydawgs.

She is the winningest coach in school history.
She was in the Tournament last year
She competes in a top 3 conference year in and year out

Thank you for just screwing your own self.

Game. Set. Match

Hell look at the win percentages, NCAA tournament trips, conference titles, record versus Ole Miss, etc. Only you would even attempt to put the two in the same category.

While Stansbury is the winningest in the West, it still puts him only 4th in the SEC. She doesnt get the advantage of playing all the ****** teams in the SEC twice every year. There is no West in SEC Titty basketball

She also plays real teams on her schedule each year- not the Jacksonville States, Belmonts, and Canton Academies Stansbury fills his schedule with.

She is going to be in the Tourney aGAIN this year- yet you want her fired? Thats awesome....thanks for making my day</p>

and fails to make a sweet 16, I will be all over the fire Stans bandwagon.

How many all-conference players do we have year in and year out? Since the SEC is so tough as you guys say, having some of the best in the conference, in the one of the best conferences in the nation, should be enough shouldnt it?
