he could be the guy whoreplace,s Jack Christalone day and Matt is a Six Pack Poster. I enjoy all the extra stuff that you get with his show. Bo Bounds is the fakest SOB out there and Miss sports has a Yakee who only talks NFL and a Tenn guy who went to Middle Tenn State. They don't give one **** about Miss Sports.I know that Matt is from Alabama but he played football during the good years at Mississippi state and took a beating on the field as a QB. As far as Mike and Mike they sound like two drunk bookies.
totally disagree....Matt is one of us, and although he tries not to be partial, sometimes doesn't work(and I love it)...I don't care if he only talks about SEC sports, mostly the major sports..he is a friend of mine, so that may weigh into it, but I think he does a great job, and hope that once Jack steps down, he and Jim will be the folks I listen to during games(even tho I don't miss them in person)..
I like Matt I mean he seems like a nice guy and he is pro Mississippi State all the way which I like. I listen every morning on 96.3 but I seriously wish changes would be made to the program. The applause is lame when he has guests on and he needs to let go of the rooster to wake people up. The sound affects just have to go and the show would improve a lot. I like Richard Cross in the afternoon and it's the same network
Yeah you do have a point he is way better than those guys and he allows you to call and voice your opinion which I've done 2-3 times. Maybe I overreacted a bit wouldn't say "high, drunk, or a 17 idiot
I'm sure he would love to hear constructive criticism/feedback. It might do more good than posting it here.
I can't explain it, but somehow I feel like this means the show is now officially on the map.

Matt's & Bo's shows each air in Mississippi, during the morning drive, and primarily cover The 2 SEC athletic departments in this state. That is where the similarities all but end.
Not insulting either, for <span style="text-decoration:underline">I listen to both</span> whenever I have the chance.
But, they are different. Different styles, perspectives, & missions (I assume). While it is comparing oranges to oranges, its like comparing Clementines to Navels. It's all personal preference.

But I do have one tech-centric complaint with both: Being on the Coast, I'd REALLY like a dependable, up to date, RSS feed of the day's episodes/podcasts, so I can sync my iPhone, iPad, or iPod, for later consumption. I grew very tired of recording streaming audio on my Mac, editing out the commercials, and manually adding them to my device.
My Loyalty, which can be bought like a gambling vote from an Alabama Legislator, will lie with the first one who maintains a daily iTunes Podcast Feed. ;-)

I have learned that there is always going to be somebody who is NOT going to like what you do and have a ton of suggestions to make what you do better. It amazes me the average joes who come up to the stage after a show and give me pointers as if I'm there JUST for them. Matt it's not exruciating for me to listen that's why I still listen on my daily commute. I like everything except the soundfx on your show. You tell it like it is which I like and you allow people to have an opionion and not get blasted for it. If you want me to call Monday I will man. I've called under the name Eric in Fulton a couple times
Rockydawg I wasn't trying to tell the man how to do his job because there is no way possible I could do what he does on a daily basis. I've got respect for Matt, Dixon, Todd, and Joe on the show and I'll admit when I'm wrong.
