Unless we are talking national coach of the year or for just basketball, both Don and The Dick won Big East Coach of the year in football. I think Don was even National COY in 88.

Congrats to Huggins though.

Yep, Nehlen won the national award

in 1988. Selective memory is a wonderful thing, I guess. More fuel for the Beilein vs Huggins threads too.

Re: Yep, Nehlen won the national award

this is what I get for giving the board credit for being able to recognize a basketball-specific topic.

He deserved it...what an honor.....

And to think what we'll be like next year returning all except Staten and Browne.

I'm this forums 'Otis Campbell'... ...and I completely understood that he was only referring to basketball.

Call down, girls

You guys would argue about how many angels can fit on the head of a pin, which would make you pinheads.

Huggins received a great honor from his peers, which shows the respect they have for him, as I do. Even when WVU loses.

I know a lot of post-loss crap is venting, but it DOES reflect on the lack of quality of the bitcher. So, it's on you.

I'm just happy for Huggins, and this young WVU team, and I hope it has a great Big 12 and March Madness run for Staten and Browne.
