My friend Burt (aka @ImTheVillageIdiot ) has schadenfreude over my Stolzschande.
American was right their before their star went out. Sad was shaping up to be another good finish, hate it for everyone.
The misfortune of others is the hobby of many.Outside of Rogers, American has little to no firepower. Their 2nd leading scorer is inconsistent and the 3rd is about the same albeit a better shooter from distance option

My son is a grad student at Mt St Mary’s so I’m happy they won. Coincidentally he was an undergrad at Xavier. Rooting for X to beat the Longhorns.
Years ago in our office pool a lady handed me two sheets and she was under the impression that the higher the number the better the team. With two 16 seeds in her finals I had the devil on one shoulder saying don't tell her and an angel on the other saying give her a do over. She did it over and it would be a great story if she had won but she didn't.

It would have been funny if it would have been the year that Maryland Baltimore County beat Virginia and when that game happened she thought you were a liar.
Another reason I don't do brackets anymore. Had a young girl win our store pool once. She knew jack diddly about basketball and picked solely on mascots and colors. Won the pool over me and a couple of other guys that watched CBB heavily.

It's just amazing to me how good it looks tonight and how awful it will look in two nights.
Swear the same happened to our pool at work. She saw a girl win on ESPN with the closest bracket by picking colors and mascots. That was 2018ish and I never got in a pool again.
In 1996 my grandpa and his VFW people drew names out of bottle and he got Kentucky. Won 10,000 bucks. It was an awesome memory watching them win with my grandpa. He didn't even follow basketball till then.

UNC*** getting in, winning, was so predictable. Storylines already made. We're getting a steady diet of dUKe to death. If I were a Tennessee fan, I'd be so pissed off that we got Kentucky as a 3 seed. They got hosed! I like the region, frankly, if I am a Kentucky fan, which I am. Looks ..... doable to an elite eight run realistically even. We matchup with UT like Bama does with us this year.
All in all, they made it so we got the late game on the second day, so if we get upset from the get go, then at least they had BBN in it for one full day by just making it be on Friday ! haha!
