as much as Penn State. I guess they don't want to lose Golden and Dan obviously made a great impression on them in his interview last year**.

At Miami, you still have the cloud of Shapiro-gate hanging over your program's head that may prove to be deadly to your career. At PSU, you have Sandusky-gate.

Obviously the Sandusky deal doesn't directly impact your scholarship count or anything field related, but the reputation hit for the school is huge.

If you're in his shoes, or really anyone's shoes and both jobs are open, which job would you prefer and why?

job. Seriously, you raise good points but I don't think Penn State is off the NCAA hook just yet, they could face severe penalties for lack of institutional control before all this is over.

Dan didn't per say 'interview" for the Miami job..

Also, Golden signed a contract extension last week..He isn't leaving

I"m not saying Dan is either
