Agree completely. Lincoln Riley is considered by many college football analysts to be one the best offensive minds in football. Yet we have the arm chair coaching idiots who come on here and complain about his play calling. Yea terrible, really terrible, as one couch coach pointed out. Please enlighten this fan as to exactly what plays or sequence of plays were terrible and what you would have called in that situation. Also all you defensive wizzards please tell me all the schemes and blitz packages that we should have used but did not.

Hey brainiac, Riley himself stated after the game he did a really poor job calling plays in the second half of the second quarter...

You might want to know the facts before you make a fool of yourself...

That was NOT aimed @ U, fw...Your Rebel Rousing Counterpart seems to have a VERY Limited Positive Vocab...
Oh man! To think I could've hidden my weaknesses and NO ONE would've noticed!!;)

Upon self-reflection, your post, whether intended towards me or not, rightfully smacked me right between the eyes. I need to be reminded from time to time of my own posting "issues".

Not a homer. I have been retired for several years but I have actually coached high school football. What and who are you? Why not contact Coach Riley and tell him “what you would prefer”. Comedian Ron White surely had you in mind when he said, “You can’t fix stupid “.

This board is named the OU FANS Message Board because that is exactly what it is.... if you want only former HS Coach's to post here, it aint going to happen Coach McBrider. You're at the wrong place man.

1) Riley's play calling sucked in the mid to late second quarter

2) Motley needs to be benched

3) When do you learn not to kick to Turpin?

4) You have to make interceptions. Drop is the difference between going up 35-7 versus 28-14

5) This officiating crew sucks

1. Riley play calling wasn't great in the 2nd but not bad
2. Motley is in position, he didn't get burned
3. Yes, we shouldn't have kicked to Turpin
4. That's why they are DB and not WR.
5. WAY to many questionable calls. The procedure penalty on Evans was and is a joke. They had some grounds on Lamb and Brown but still pretty weak.

You would prefer a shot in the end zone. Good call coach Phaeded. What I would prefer is that idiots whose knowledge of football could be written on the penis of a flea not question the calls of Lincoln Riley.

Way too defensive. I, too, would have preferred a shot in the endzone rather than a run to set up the FG and I said so at the time. We probably didn't need those 2-3 yards to get the field goal, so why not take a shot? After all, that passing offense is our specialty. It's not like asking Jamelle Holieway to make the pass.
While I don't know Phaeded, I am neither an idiot nor a moron.
Your quick hammer leads me to believe that when you "actually coached high school football", you must have been heavily criticized after your games. Not only were you defensive, you were quick with the name-calling. Take your nonsense elsewhere. It is uncalled for here.
