Ole Miss fan, in broken redneck, seemed genuinely down and incredulous that Dan played Dak when he said that he wouldn't play him. From a game plan perspective, I'm not sure that preparing for Williams looks a lot different than preparing for Dak. Of course we didn't have any advanced warning that RK would be a running back wearing the same number as another player. No fair! If people could only hear themselves...

That would be caller "Chuck" I don't know if that misfit really believes Mullen would start a true freshman and play him for more than 3 Quarters of the game before putting Dak in if Dak was healthy all week. If Mullen had started him, I would say I smell fish but as it happened I smell a bad case of Chucks diaper being full of shat and a rash to go with it.

this is the winning argument. Mullens job was on the line and if he was really just playing games then I highly doubt Dak would ride the pine for over 3 quarters of football.

Dan said after the game that Dak had been cleared, but still wasn't completely comfortable playing, but said during the game that he felt he could play. I really think that if he felt comfortable doing it, Dan would have started Dak.

I certainly wouldn't put it past Mullen to play mind games regarding who starts before a game; he's done it before. I just don't think that is what happened in this game.

This brings out a point that some have made all year. If Dan could run a 2-QB system, he could have kept Dak fresh at the end of games, plus not let the defenses adjust to Dak's game.

Can you imagine if the shoe was on the other foot re: "integrity?" Freeze at post-game press conference: "Bo Wallace was cleared to play before kickoff and felt he could play and he sure could have helped us in the 4th quarter when we were trailing by 3, but I remembered that I told y'all on Monday that he could not go this week, so I kept him on the sideline to preserve my integrity."
