Where in the <17> was the damn zone defense? We were getting absolutely killed on the low post, and our team can't guard the pick and roll worth a ****!!!! I think it's no coincidence that when we made our runs in the first few wins that we were running a zone D! It's not hard to hit shots when you're wide open under the <17>n goal (unless you're Beckham, Bailey, or Lewis), but it is when you have to consistently shoot from range. At no point tonight did we make them hit shots from outside of 5 ft........Can we send Stansbury to Clemson now? The recruits for next year have already signed......we just need somebody to coach em......

But this is the same Stans we have had for over a decade, why would things change...... Get used to it, we are stuck with him until he retires or finds him a Pom Squad girl..

I'm not the biggest Stansbury fan, but I dunno many coaches better than can lure the type of talent he's brought to Starkville. You have to remember we are playing without or two best players. You have to remember we missed 3 front end of the 1-in-1. You have to remember Stans drew up a nice play to Kodi and he just missed from point blank. You can't blame Stans for missing all those free throws. Also, we should be able to guard FAU man to man. We prolly should have switched to the zone, but our talent level is so much higher than theirs we should be able to guard them. Also our shot selection was terrible. Riley can't hit ****. Ravern shoots too many contested 3s. Kodi seemed out of it the second half. I dunno how you blame coaching when the crowd makes it very easy on the opposing team and we can't make any free throws. Get a grip dude. It's not all coaching.

why he seems to refuse to try and bring in JUST ONE assistant who is a competent X&O guy to help with his teams. Is Stans just insecure about bringing in someone that might challenge him or get some credit for our success? He only hires seemingly now former players with little to no experience on the D1 level. Kirby was no great floor coach but he was the best we had and now he's gone. Stans is still doing a pretty good job on the recruiting front but apparently has no intention to EVER upgrade his staff in terms of true coaching ability.
