Something I thought I would pass along. A long time family friend that works in the athletic dep( no not saying who) was over at the house the day after cj committed to om. He said that our AD and Dan both knew that he was paid and were going to prove it. Didn't give any details of what it was exactly they knew bc I don't think he knew. He said Strickland was pissed even more than Dan and said he was on the phone that whole day with the citizens bank in philly. Not sure what that meant but that's what he said. He also said Dan reaction to all this was more along the lines of, "November can't get here soon enough."

If this is true and Mullen does try to prove this to the NCAA, I think we have a bigger problem than we did at first. This will be our second time to turn someone in and we all know that the NCAA/ will continue to sweep this under the rug.

My opinion: The NCAA, Slive, and the media would make us look stupid for once again turning somebody in. We better have concrete evidence before we say anything.

blowing the whistle on a Heisman candidate leading his team to a undefeated season and the BCSNCG and Ole Miss. SLime may want to run with this one, if it can be proven

I just want our side to be careful because the media shitstorm would be bad for our University. You do agree that Newton-gate was bad PR for us right?

With that said, if Mullen and Co. think they have proof then they should go for it. It's pretty apparent that we are NOT cheating and have nothing to hide.

Slive throwing us under the bus was not fun but we were vendicated when Cam's father admitted to prostituting his son to us. But I follow your concerns about us needing to be sure we get this one right if it provable. There is so much talk out there right now about Nutts "recruiting" this year that that will help us.

...the most corrupt athletic department since Barry Switzer's Oklahoma program in the '70's and '80's.
