This was my first time back with my now teenager in, best I can recall, 7 years.....*** and look, we just found more enjoyment in going to baseball and other travel, and just alot of life and what not, and priorities given elsewhere (disclaimer comment in hopes I don't get blasted for not doing my part!).
I loved the atmosphere. we got there early, parked @ PACE, went around to several tailgates and had a great time seeing old friends
Pre-game in stadium,....loved every minute of it, and the flag flying in was just awesome, and damn y'all, give the band a break, they really did a great job in full uniform.....but agree, if you are going to have a summer uniform, then be a team and match and look sharp......
Could the apaches have pulled up a 1/2 mile out and timed the flyover for the END of the National Anthem......and not during it! either way, how they pull off and coordinate all those moving parts, it was still cool
there was way to much orange and way to many empty seats, but that said, WOW!!! STATE fans and students brought it the entire game. Totally AWESOME, and I could give to rips about hearing the in stadium announcer.......
game day weather report from last week???.....really....I know we have to fill space with the 2:30 TV timeouts, but dang.....I was like, how do you pull off all of this atmosphere and then run last weeks weather.....if that is my biggest complaint, then oh well
The game we played.....All I will say is that we did everything we could. I am proud of this team and how they fought, and I HATE we let TN off the hook and gave them the opportunity to win, but I do believe, we will win one that no one sees coming, and I have no idea how you continue to build a program with NIL other than we need a freaking whole new Business Management department for NIL player development......but I think Lebby has the potential to figure this all out
Leaving campus and pedestrian traffic......I'll just say that we need some real help with this, and I'll stop there and refrain from complaints, b/c, the problem also represents that people are showing up
