You deserve Graeters as you have the years of training under your belt. Some of us (former) fatasses can pass for a bit for the years of downed pints of ice cream.Give me Graeter's or give me death. (As a treat, not every night, obv.)
New Presidential Challenge. The Bobby and Pete Challenge.
50 pull ups
100 push ups
10 minutes
I won a bet with buckethead like 5 years ago by doing 200 push ups in under 10 minutes. I'm thinking I could get close to Bobby and Pete's 5 minute mark.
Let's see the president do it.New Presidential Challenge
I assume they're gonna go pull up because that's the military test but Pete was doing some sus chin ups in that video. If I can do 25 pull/25 chin then I know I can get that 5 minute mark.Push ups - no problem
Chin ups - GTFOH
The key to completing the challenge is how you attack the two goals. The pull-ups are the nut buster, so my initial thought was to hit them out of the gate in 10 sets of 5 with slight rest between. Then two sets of 50 push-ups.I assume they're gonna go pull up because that's the military test but Pete was doing some sus chin ups in that video. If I can do 25 pull/25 chin then I know I can get that 5 minute mark.
Regardless, I ordered an American Flag tank top and gonna give it hell Friday morning.
You have a good PT? Where are you again?I was shooting around before my workout Friday before last, and randomly felt a subtle pop just above my tailbone, followed by stiffness and some mild pain. Continued my workout being careful to protect it. Woke up the next morning barely able to walk, and it got worse for 3-4 days. I would get unexpected, completely debilitating jolts of intense pain several times a day. Has slowly improved, but I'm on about day 10 now and pretty much unable to do anything more than sit, stand, lay down, and walk carefully. This kind of stuff has happened to me a handful of times over the last decade or so, but this is the worst episode. I always mistakenly think I can walk and stretch my way out of it, and it only makes things worse. Time and pain killers seem to be the only remedies.
Those folks in the 2-4 minute zone were f*cking jacked. I bet they were doing 25 pull ups pretty damn close to legit. When I wrestled I could get 20 in a row. Now I typically do 10-8-8 but that's slow and strict form. I'll be moving quicker.Zero chance anyone doing that challenge is going to have anything coming close to decent form on those pull-ups. 50 quality pull-ups is, in an of itself, a yeoman's effort if done properly.
GTFO with any kipping, etc.
Also, why we skipping leg day?
Let me see if I can find you a contact. Start there. Sitting around won't help it. Low back pain is the f*cking worse, man. Can't sit, stand, lay down, walk. Ugh.Bowling Green. Don't have a PT. Had one in Nashville a few years back, but not since moving up here.
The only chins up I can do is from the diving board while floating in the pool. I can do those like a rockstar.Push ups - no problem
Chin ups - GTFOH
corticosteroids, not anabolics haha
Both pushups and pullups done properly will cut down how many most can do.Zero chance anyone doing that challenge is going to have anything close to decent form on those pull-ups. 50 quality pull-ups is, in and of itself, a yeoman's effort if done properly.

Wife ran down to the university here and got to play with some of the toys.Got my bodpod results. 25.9% coming off vacation ain't terrible and certainly much better than the 32.07% my stupid scale said this morning.
My RMR is only 1,923 calories though. I dont want to be a hungry boy.
Does anyone have a guide on how to use the RMR info to come up with appropriate daily intake for my goals?
LOL. These people kill me. Anything to be contrary to those who want to better themselves so they themselves won't feel bad for not doing it, which in itself is rather ridiculous. Not only that, but I don't think they were saying meet the standard right away but work up to it. Push-ups and pull-ups are great exercises unless you have injuries or a debilitating physical impairment that prevents you from doing them.
