Five straight undefeated seasons ruined.

Looking at VHSL reference records, 4 teams have missed pulling off five straight undefeated regular seasons due to only 1 loss (a couple of teams actually would have had six straight undefeated seasons). In the years that VHSL-Reference has published (1999-2013).

The teams with the 49-1 or 59-1 records are

L.C. Bird (current)
Gretna (2003-2007)
Phoebus (2005-2010)
Oscar Smith (2004-2009)

Hampton did this in 1994-1999 but I don't know who ruined their streak.

My question is this: "Who was the school that pulled off the sole regular season win against each of these programs during their streak?"

Guess before you scroll down

Manchester beat Bird
Hampton beat Phoebus
William Campbell beat Gretna
Hickory beat Oscar Smith
If you know who ruined the Hampton streak, let me know.

I'm pretty sure Heritage beat Hampton to end that streak. I thought it was a low scoring game (15-8 or something similar). Don't quote me on this though.

Thought it was Culpeper in the State Semifinals in 1999 that beat Hampton 20-17 in OT at Darling Stadium?
