How did you come up with the hunting bonus? I know it's not deer season but it is opening weekend for dove. Just wondering how you picked that factor. But overall I like it and hoping 50,000+ will be a reality on Saturday.</p>

We'll also be hunting until late in the morning. Heading to the game after that so should make for a perfect day. Might miss out on some tailgating but I'll take that kind of Saturday any week.

Alums of other schools who aren't high enough priority to get road game tickets, but still have some cash laying around, will join our bulldog club to get tickets to the game.

He is referring to the Bama and LSU fans that don't give enough to their schools to qualify for away game tickets so they join the BC for a minimal amount in order to get our season tickets. They only give a **** about one game every two years so their ticket to a game like JSU will most likely go unused. I'm not sure how many of these fans actually join the BC, but they do buy full-season ticket packages and mini-packs when they go on sale to the general public.

The ole man and I did that for many years. Take in the dove shoot that morning. Drive over to Starkville that afternoon and watch the Dawgs sneak past Tulane, Arkansas State, La Tech, Colorado State, and others. Dem wur da good ole days fo sho.

I would be suprised if the number is as high as 2,800 though. Maybe a few hundred. We did a similar package when we had a home game with UT back a few years ago. I knew at least a dozen UT fans who came to the game. They bought single tickets through MSU. Not the mini packs.

True story from that game. I'm standing in line. UT fan taps me on the shoulder, shows me a ticket stub, and ask me if the correct price was printed on the ticket. The ticket had a price of $16 printed on it. I said yes and explained the mini pack. Dude cussed and explained he paid someone outside the stadium $80 for the ticket.

The said bonus is the sum of weather & hunting. The weather will be great. And FlabLoser things dove hunting < deer hunting.
