The Calculator is facing quite a challenge from the Athletic Department. It seems that the stadium capacity of Davis Wade is a well-guarded secret. We've broken the official capacity on multiple occasions the last couple years and even at times during the Croom era.

Where are these extra people fitting in?The Calculator has never seen a ticket printed for the "standing room only" section wherever that may be. Or perhaps we started charging admission for Rogers Redding's sorry ***, as well as other SEC ilk.

What Flab is alluding to, capacity issomething just over 55,000.
So I'm unsure how we have had muchover 56,000.

Thursday deduction = time away from work on Thursday to accommodate drive time, and also not looking forward to Friday morning at work

The Calculator has determined that TV doesn't detract from attendance.

53,000 is a little low. And my thought is that the calculator needs to be re-programmed to get more with the times as I think the base crowd amount of 35,000 is still Croom-ish. The Dan Mullen base crowd is more than that. I mean, we DID sell like what....43,000 season tickets? So I think the adjusment for base crowd is why you were off by 3K for the the Memphis game. Otherwise, you got the formula down.

we had 58k for the Bama game last year because we added seats behind the players on the west side of the stadium and also allowed other areas to be open to seats such as between club and student sections there are a few rows.
Those tickets were sold the week of the game. if we were going to do something of the sort the tickets would of gone on sell today.. Last I heard this was not a sellout as of yet.
