Truly an amazing set of events.

I know we like to sulk at how MSU can jerk a loss from the jawbone of victory....but WAOM is definitely not a conspiracy....it’s teeming with life.

Anyone else want to see Dick try a 35 yard field goal after hearing that?

I also liked Kellum trying to figure out some crazy strategy to get the ball back and the other guy in the booth being like "what the hell are you talking about? A sky kick?"

That will always be one of my favorite Egg Bowls. Ole Miss acting like Ole Miss cost them the game. It finally caught up with them.

I'd like to hear more of Kellum and that broadcast crew on OM defeats. The Arkansas 4th and 50 something loss and the Jacksonville State loss would be splendid to hear.

In case you ever needed a reason to understand how culture affects everything... just listen to this. They had a player pretend to pee in the end zone.... imitated a player who had done it previously, and not ONCE did those mouth breathers mention that until it caused negative harm to OM. He lined up and kicked that ball and Cross nor Kellum said one word about Moore’s actions.

And then, when OM gets the flag for one player coming on the field, they seem amazed and bewildered that the refs had the audacity to call it.

If someone knows how to post the MSU radio commentary of that sequence as well I would really appreciate it. I’ve heard it before, Matt Wyatt and Jay Perry really let Elijah Moore have it. Neil was just kinda shocked.

What was that flag for? Was it the player who had made a fool of himself and his team?

He sort of did. At the 1:45ish mark, he said that "Elijah Moore went into the endzone and made a DK Metcalf move, or something like that, and backed them up". Plus, he said "Hang that one on Elijah Moore" acting immature.

He said all of that after it affected OM. Had the kick been made, do you think he says it?

One of their lineman came off the bench and pushed Kody Schexnader down.

Really probably didn't matter much. A penalty on MSU would have brought the kickoff up to where maybe a successful onside kick would have set up a long field goal try but the odds of them pulling it off are slim.
