I am still sure that Series would have produced our first natty. It was heartbreaking. I have hated the Longhorns since that night....and still do.

i was there for that tragic moment! best team i have ever seen! got 2 autographed baseballs from that trip. Only signature not on balls is Thigpen! waited outside the gate for team to get on bus and found out later he didn't ride bus back to hotel; he walked!
