to make case that they could hang in the sec.

Hate to say it, but they would probably win the Sec this year.

but put Boise in the West or East where they have to go to Florda, South Carolina, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, or even State and lets see if they come out unscathed.

I was telling somebody this yesterday. Boise is going to thump Ole Miss and then we'll never hear the end of how they belong.

they dont have do deal with the grueling week in and week out brutality of a strong conference schedule.

If the debate is simply about a snapshot in time of what the last win means or the last 5 games mean, then they certainly have an argument. But at the end of the year, very few want to see Boise or TCU get in the championship game over a one loss team that everybody knows is better.

Of course we are going to hear ALL FREAKING fall next year about how their *** kicking of Ole Miss will be proof positive they are legit.

I just cant figure out for now what would be worse. Having to hear it from um how great they are because they beat boise, or having to listen to ESPN tell the world how great boise is because they beat the bulldogs in Oxford.

really good. But it's hard for me to believe they would not encounter a loss when playing a full SEC schedule.

put in good enough subs to keep going and never miss a beat. I doubt very seriously that Boise has the muscle and depth to play an SEC schedule.

But they play at least 2 or 3 cupcakes and then get a test..... play 2 or 3 cupcakes and then another test. They can sleepwalk through the cupcakes all the while they are preparing for the test.<div>
</div><div>They wouldn't fare so good say Traveling to Florida, then getting Arkansas at home, then playing bama on the road... then an out of conference team such as Georgia Tech, and then back on the road to say South Carolina. </div><div>
</div><div>They wouldn't fare near as well year in and year out.</div>

SEC teams have to dial it down on those games to rest guys for the SEC games. Occasionally you get a team like UAB that gives you some hell but most of the time it is around a 42-14 type game. You hear about BSU having a big game coming up with Nevada and that is pretty much the only ranked team on their schedule.

Not really sure how wise of a purchase it would be, but i don't feel like Boise would fair so well against an SEC team of any talent what so ever. Come to think of it, Boise beat OU, VT, and who else? What top tier team did they defeat? I wouldn't really call VT anything, but overrated any time in my recent memory. OU was a good win and i would've thoroughly enjoyed it had that been a Miss State win, but that was 2006-07.. You know, as i sit here and type this, i'm tempted to backspace and say sell.. It's Ole Miss! Houston narrowly missed a loss to them at Arky. Ole Miss may just be worse next season than this one. Saying Boise is well coached is a huge understatement, but they lose a busload of seniors after this season. Houston will hep his team get fired up for this like his career depends on it, but who hasn't done the same? Huge props to the bears for scheduling Boise; A rare moment of cool in a sea of douchary and there's just not enough football season in this world. Now, can a ninja get some playoff so this can all play out every season?
