No doubt. All the big guys did a helluva job on run defense. They were nasty.

Good deal. He's a different type of DL than we're use to. Could be a nice fit for us. Kid is strong as hell.

He could just shut it down. Don't these high school players know that. They could just tell all the other teams thanks but no thanks. Do not contact me again. Its that easy. The coaches do not have a right to contact you. You allow them to. Just shut it down and help build the best class you can. MSU needs the best class possible to ensure weekends like this past weekend happen as frequently as possible. Come on Adams build something through leadership.

A few things...

1. I guess I'm an idiot, but I had no idea that he was related to Tyler Adams. I only knew about Nelson
2. Interesting quote... "I grew up a State Fan. Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss are the dream schools but you just have to do what's best for you. That was the main thing." Is this really the way that kids growing up in Mississippi think?
3. I noticed that he plans to still take visits to Miami, Bama, Ole Miss, etc. Why is it that of those schools, the most concerning one to me would be the *** hats up north?

normally the extra visits to other schools would bother me but seeing that his brother is at State and will be on him and further convincing him State is best, I aint worried about it. Nelson's tweet a couple months ago told us what was going to happen before it instantly got taken down.

That quote about Ole Miss being a dream school raised my eyebrow too

But it's really not surprising when you think about it. Ole Miss portrays themselves and is portrayed as more of the glamorous school with the Grove, all the pretty women and the best parties. Their recent rock star recruiting classes, the Kimdeshians and The Blind Side movie just add to that persona. MSU seems to be the more low key, hard hat, down to earth type of program. You come here, work hard and earn respect the old fashioned way. It's good that Adams is that type of player, because that's the type of player we seem to thrive with.

I guess if your dream is white women who swallow, Mississippi is the place.
