Maybe they know that there's a fair share of State fans listening in on Hailstate.tv, but they are realists. Both for our team and their team. Best opposing broadcast I've heard.

Also, why didn't we squeeze with Britton there?

Squeeze is a little tougher for a left handed batter. Easier to throw a pitch out or an outside pitch thats tough to bunt that would hang the runner out to dry.

The play-by-play guy keeps commentating on our players' mild celebrations and it's getting 17'ing annoying.

He didn't say **** when the UF guy hit a homer in game one and was pumping his fist the whole trip around the bases. I'm sorry that Slauter is excited we just got out of a huge jam.

Yesterday they mentioned that Slauter (who let out a big yell and pumped his fist upon an inning ending strikeout with RISP) "acted like he just won the World Series" in a very snide tone.

And just as I was posting this, they did it again. </p>

And when I heard that just a second ago, my entire opinion changed, too.

Hell, I did the same thing Slauter did when Lindgren struck out Fontana.

They were two of the biggest homers I have ever listened to. The great thing about listening to Jim or Jack is that both of them have the ability to call a game, paint a great picture, without seeming outright biased towards state.

There is no need for that, everyone knows they are state fans.

How many times did these Florida dipshits talk about Florida's pitcher being squeezed or the strike zone shrinking when they are on the mound? They never said it once when we were on the mound.

They gave Slauter hell for pumping his fist after a strike out talking about him celebrating like he had just one the college world series.

Also, when a batter like Britton would get to the plate, they would state his average is .152. Anyone that knows **** about baseball knows that is a ****** batting average but they would take it a step further talking about how he was an easy out or at one point said he just wasn't very good. Now I agree with them on this but it is very unprofessional to say.

The guys were Kellum minus the speed ball.

And they were far from homers during that time. They were very negative on their own team. Yeah, they were just as negative, if not more so on us. But there were times where it seemed that he thought his own team sucked and was terrible.

The Slauter thing was terrible and bush league. The Britton thing was true and was no worse than Jack talking about our offense during the Croom days. I thought it was kind of comical.

They were obviously giddy like a teenage girl when Zunino hit the HR. But Jim, even as great as he is, gets happy when we do something like that.

Again, I didn't hear anything of the Friday and Saturday games. I was taken aback by how bad they were talking about their own team at times during today's broadcast. Something Kellum would never do. They were far from Kellum-like.

As mentioned above and for the same reasons above, the color commentator was on par with Yellum and the raspy voiced redneck homer the bears have in their broadcast booth. However, I base that from the Saturday night broadcast only.

Jack was talking about his team and not the opponent. I don't think you would ever hear Jim talk poorly about an opposing player. Say the guy has a .150 batting average, is there really any reason to add anything to that.

I watched them for 3 straight games and they were very Kellum like. Today you heard them pissed off at their team because they were amazed at their own teams lack of hitting and high number of walks. Fri and Sat they did not do this.

These guys were ********. The best was listening to them yesterday prior to the game. They had no clue the tv feed had gone live and were talking about all sorts of things. Cussing and gossiping like a couple of hens.

I watched all three games. After listening to those two on Fri. & Sat. I muted them on the tv and had the audio on from Jim's audio broadcast. The one guy from Fla. sounded like he had a "bromance" going on with Hudson Randle calling him "Huddy". These guys were totally unprofessional. Thank God we have Jim Ellis.
