As a matter of fact I've heard it being bandied about that they are considering buying out Fisher as well. Can't remember where I heard it..maybe Around the Horn...but it was a discussion on why these 'coaches in waiting' contracts are a bad idea.

I don't know what it's going to take to get them ready. I also heard that maybe the Florida State crowd isn't too excited about Jimbo Fisher stepping up as well. At the time, I was wanting Jimbo Fisher (assuming the rumors of his interest were true) as our coach over the legendary Sylvester Croom. I don't know how that would have turned out, but it couldn't have been any worse. Fisher certainly would have recruited much better then Croom did.
