If one does not hold to a higher calling and purpose in life, but instead subscribes to instant relief of responsibility, and instant gratification, without moral consequences, then killing the unborn is vital for their religion.

No fuss, no muss, my conscience is clean because the State ordained it lawful.

This is the religion of secular humanism.

In the matter of abortion the democrats really blew it over the last 50 years since Roe was passed by not making it a state matter, it was never a federal constitutional issue, thus after winning they should have kept up the pressure state by state. The overturning of Roe has nothing to do with a woman can't have an abortion, it comes down to constitutional authority or rights.

IF the democrats had galvanized after the win a long ways back, every state would be legal instead of 21. They rested on their win and didn't think it was going to be overturned.

Democrats dropped ball

OP is smoking the fentany-laced weed again.

Dream on.

The Christian right may not be happy about this, but they are not going to change their vote for crooked Joe Biden because of it. It’s actually more likely to attract some left of center undecided to the GOP banner than anything.

No one celebrates having an abortion. Seriously, where do you guys get this horseshitt? Do you even bother to read your own posts to see if they make any sense?

You are so wrong.

Perversely, some celebrate it as an act of freewill and independence from the patriarchy.

The things people in rebellion will do against the innocent is bloodcurdling.

Oh really? You are so full of it. This is EXACTLY what the Christian right has been pushing for for decades -- but now that it's happened, republicans, who made an uneasy alliance with these groups, are shaking in their shoes when they realize the political reaction to this will be swift and sharp. And Clarence Thomas gave it away after the Dobbs decision when he declared they will go after contraception next. They are thrilled with this decision.

No, we don't expect the Christian right to change their vote. What we do expect is that a lot of non-voters, especially women, to vote in big numbers this election, and abortion rights will be the reason they are voting. You have no idea what you have unleashed.

See you in November when you are crying about how we stole the election again. We didn't steal it -- you handed it to us.

No, it was never supposed to be in the federal court level, their is no constitutional remedy. Women, Republican, Independents and Democrats should have just kept rolling to pass abortion rights state by state after that victory to assure it never rears its head again. They were unstoppable at that point, once it became a rearview mirror thing, religious zealots filled in...

I'm pro abortion, its their body and life, and with all the sheep in this nation now, we don't need more of them popping out lambs who have no grass to feed them.

Yeah, OK. I’m sure you have a really good insight into what conservative Christians are thinking and feeling in their hearts. You have no clue.

The Christian right has been very clear about what they've wanted. Republicans paid lip service to them for decades, being deaf, dumb and blind to the possibility they'd be faced with situations like Arizona resorting to an 1864 statute banning virtually all abortions. You're the one who's clueless.

Conservative Christians want what is right, not what is popular at a point in time, and unlike the political parties, they don’t change their value system based on the winds of public opinion. What is wrong is wrong, period. The bottom line is that abortion is the taking of innocent human life. That is wrong.

Also, I’m not sure Florida will be up for grabs over this issue:

Ah, Fox News decided Florida wasn't a swing state because there were 900,000 more republicans than democrats. Interestingly, Kansas has almost 400,000 more republicans than democrats, and yet they voted in 2022 to keep abortion legal -- by nearly a 60-40 margin. Now that doesn't mean every pro-choice voter will also vote democrat. But given the two candidates' stances on this issue, the added turnout will only help Biden.

Sure. Says the guy with his finger on the pulse of the nation. They’ll forget their finances, their kids education/indoctrination, the attack on families, spending on illegal migration, forced vaccination, being lied to about all of the above, politicization of the DOJ/fbi and the debt, just to go out and vote on abortion which doesn’t affect most people anyway.

Puddles, you just keep getting dumber every day, but sure, repeat the garbage you hear on FOX because the only voices echoing in your head are from the right wing bloggers who know that the mindless drones like you will simply repeat their manure ad nauseam. And then remind you to call the other side liars first. The only things the right wing does well is market their baloney. But it's effective because they have low IQ guys like you drinking it in, dopes who will believe it and repeat it.

The abortion issue has enraged plenty of people. And we're already hearing the right start to make noises about stolen elections again, because that's what the right does when it loses. Whine and complain. Americans have rejected republican policies for 25 years -- you've lost the popular vote in every presidential election except one since 1998. You'll lose another this year. You just have neither the brainpower nor the fortitude to admit it. All you can do is re-post those silly, idiotic memes from Twitter.

Hahahaha. I guess you’ve not seen the video clip of hillary and her democratic cabal crying about Russian interference and how Trump stole that election, eh?

Nice try. Now get my fries
