I would much rather have it enclosed.

for putting those seats so far up into the sky. We should have went ahead and done the horseshoe like every other D1 school did in the past 10 years.

You can't tell how far a run is or if somebody got a first down from the end zone. Now with the jumbotron, end zone seats will be cool but I'm personally glad the upper decks are already in place. I'm no architect but I imagine bowling in an endzone is a little easier than adding upper decks.

skyboxes. i felt that way until on of the employees brought me a mixed drink. then i didn't care much.

i don't mind the upper deck but like you, i would rather be closer to the field with a bad angle than way up top on the 50 yd line.

because she made me, and I would not want to watch a game from up there. Maybe ours is just taller/steeper than the others that you've been to, I don't know, but I sit on the north end and watch MooTube half the time anyway because I like seeing the play from different angles.

If we bowled the north endzone in, I think that would not be a bad place to be. Especially for students or non-season ticket holders.

On the plus side, you've got a good birdseye view of Maben from up there.

Not that I don't watch replays, but I prefer to have a good view of the live game. And to me, you get that a lot better from a sideline upper deck view than from an end zone view. Obviously, others have a different opinion.

Kid wanted to sit up there even though we had tickets in Section B. I actually watched the end of the 1998 Arkansas game from the little walkway behind the top row of that upper deck.</p>

that the overall view from the sideline is the best, but I LOVE watching a receiver catch a td in the back of the endzone right in front of you... Any redzone plays (provided they are on your side of the field) are generally awesome.

every seat is closer to the field, and therefore a better seat and can command more $ and keep more people happy
