Ok. A loss is a loss. Everyone knows estl can beat most teams in Illinois. But when it comes to out of state teams where the teams are a little better it’s hard for you guys to win. It’s a good problem to have. And I’m sure you guys are enjoying having a former cs8 player as your running back. Built like a brick s**thouse.

I did. From what I recall IMG had the better game plan in the 2nd half. But that’s how you learn and get better. By playing great competition.

Who cares. Game is over. Chatham beat JCA. ESL pumped Chatham. Penalties and all. Even if all 25 were legit......still mashed chatham. ESL has alot of talent. We will never know who would win the 2025 MC/ESL game but damn...i would pay to see it. Arguably the 2 best teams in the state this year. Arguably, of course. I got no horse in the race but 25 penalties on 1 team is quite extreme. Of course if your looking hard enough you can throw a flag on every play on both teams probably. THe good refs know how to manage a game. Proabably why the after game drama unfolded. Pissed off kids. 3 things i have never seen...bigfoot, easter bunny and a ref admit they had a bad game.

Just watched them beat on belleville but I will say for about a quarter or so east moved the ball really well and caravan dbs looked very questionable

In this Chatham vs ESL game thread....we have IMG, Cary Grove, MC, Providence, SHG, JCA. Games from 2011. Hey...i got one...1985ish...I was like 12. Hancock stadium for the state. ESL vs Brother Rice. ESl 46 to 0. As a kid I remember the ESL fans and players chanting on the way out... PORK FRIED RICE!!! the Rice faithful were butt hurt to say the least.

So we are giving loyola credit fot beating a 4-9 Marquette team and a 5-7 St. X team simply because they werent from illinois? And they lost the 19 to St. Ignatius. You argument isn't holding up well to even the slightest bit of questioning.

Naw. MC is a really good team and they have elite guys on the edge and at lb. Somehow esl figures out how to block those types of guys without holding.

Glenwood will definitely put together a game plan for the flyers. I can see them keeping it close early. I expect the flyers to play man. There will be some opportunities there if we don’t get good pressure on the QB. Home field matters...I say we pull away in the second half.

Against MC, MJC runs the ball 15 times and Coleman and Tilman each get a half dozen carries each. And everyone is focused.
