Question. IF both ESL and MC win next week ( noticed that I said if) would they play at MC? I think they would. They would each have 1 home and 1 road game. MC is the higher seed.

East Side goes to Lombard. Mc to LZ

Since both will have hosted one game each, and MC the higher seed, ESL travels.

I know they are undefeated and ranked top 15. Haven't played much of a schedule. Should be a good game. I don't want to jinx you, but I like ESL.

Lombard has an accomplished quarterback leading a talented, 2-seed.

Bushka completed 19 of 30 passes for 399 yards and 5 touchdowns. Four scores were to old pal Jeremy Johnson, who caught 9 passes for 251 yards. Running back Jake Netchin ran for 104 of Glenbard East's 628 yards of offense.

Good quarterback, good receivers. Not sure about the line. Haven't been tested much this year so hard to tell how they stack up to an ESL. I guess we find out in 1 week, right?

Hopefully that one will be streamed. I look forward to seeing the game.

ESL absolutely rolls GBE. Good story for GBE but this isn’t the update eight we are talking about here.

Good QB play scares me. I’m not sold on the flyers secondary.

GBE is a great story - but they have not really played anyone except West Aurora and all the Upstate 8 teams (closed conference) are getting rolled this weekend (except West Aurora who plays conference foe South Elgin today). Bartlett got blown out. Glenbard South got blown out etc etc.

ESL will not give the QB a lot of time to throw and they have not seen speed and power accross the entire starting 11 the likes of ESL. I’m going to say ESL by 4 TDs.

I’m not sure - they gave up 14 today with starters in and GBE is a throwing team it seems. No hiccups - 10-0 is impressive.

Unlike Bones, sandbagging is not my style - it hurts.

I watched their game against Prospect, and ESL will run with ease and abuse that QB.

Yes - that’s what I was saying. Sorry I took your “not so sure” as questioning my thoughts on ESL by 4 TDs in this matchup. I think ESL wins easily in this one.

I was hoping GBE fell into 8A. I would rather play them 10 out of 10 times than Maine South in round 2!!!

Voodoo is correct... I live near Glenbard East. They are a product of their mediocre conference. The Hoffman Estates team that East St. Louis massacred today is much better than Glenbard East. I’ve seen both.
