The whole season is pretty dramatic but damn good. Defiently gets away from the rich kids. As an educator I must say this show protrays education, high school, and students situations more accurately than anything I have ever seen on tv (except for maybe the 80s after school specials).
The season came on the 101 on DirectTV in the fall and then NBC picked it up for now and the summer. Why NBC dosen't want to stick with it is beyond me. Great show.
NBC IS trying to stick with it. That's why they did the DirecTV 101 thing starting last year. They hope it will draw in new viewers and boost ratings. I'm interested to see how it plays out with the new kids. It's gotta be frustrating for Taylor to go from King of the Mountain to the equivalent of a 1A MS Delta school in it's first year ever of football.
It's sad, but had it been put in a good time slot and on a good day, I think it would have been wildly successful. Instead, they insisted on putting it on at 9pm on a Friday Night. <div>
