Food in skybox

I speak having formerly haunted the press boxes, which in most cases are connected to at least one tier of luxury boxes.
Highlights -
2003 JP game, OM @ UF: They fed us like four times that day, including a nice breakfast, and at the end gave us ice cream. Simple pleasures...
2003 Egg Bowl: Certain elements of the Thanksgiving Spread that you guys put out for the media were better than my family's. (My mom - not on Six Pack)
2004, OM @ Bama: Nice mixture of food, nothing amazing but they have little old ladies bringing in deserts like cobbler. Nice touch.

2005, Vandy @ MSU Hoops: I have never been so hungry. They cut off feeding the press for home hoops games. Not even like a cold cut platter. I was there for five hours and just about starved.

2005, Vandy @ MSU Hoops: I have never been so hungry. They cut off feeding the press for home hoops games. Not even like a cold cut platter. I was there for five hours and just about starved.
1. Trustmark Park. The Braves are very good hosts.
2. Mississippi College - Whether it's MPSA football championship games, juco basketball tournament games, or MC football, the Choctaws are good at hosting.
3. Ole Miss - Good hosts, good food.

1) San Diego Chargers (@ Jack Murphy/Qualcomm Stadium) did it right...an absolute smorgasbord...including all the free beer you want (usual domestics: Bud, Bud Light, Miller Light, MGD, Coors, Coors Light). Food was anything from pizza to steak.
2) Nashville Predators (@Sommet Center) Not bad, but could have been better: cold cuts, nachos, soft drinks.

which was also an *** whoopin from Eli and Ole Miss. I thought the food was about as good as a public school cafeteria. Sucked bad.

Tampa Bay Rays (an assortment of various foods including fried grouper strips....good stuff)

Some of my favorites:
SEC Basketball Tournament in Atlanta (2007) - by far the best press meals I've ever had. Most choices I've ever seen for press food and just good stuff. Also, 2 meals a day (one per session)...simply awesome.
Alabama - I have eaten in the press box twice at Bryant-Denny and both times it was pretty damn good.
OM - Day after thanksgiving 2006, can't remember the meal exactly...I remember I was not all that hungry, but I cleaned my plate.

the suite food and the concession food is one in the same. It isn't bad for concession food, but it isn't great for suite food.
I have been in a suite at MSU before. The food is much better there than at the Braves stadium.

The food generally sucks. Here's the reason: they cook the food on Wednesday for a Saturday night game. It is brought up to the suite area on Friday and placed in refridgerators. Saturday morning, they put them in warmers most of the day. So, the food comes out dry and usually bad. There are some exceptions, but we are definitely not paying for the food up there, just the bar.
Until they cook the food the day of the game in ovens, it will be like that. Oh well, the hotdogs and nachos are still ok.

I thought the food was OK. But, I am curious. We had hot dogs and nachos as well. And given the "we are paying for" comment, is your food inclusive with your suite price? I have always wondered how that works.
That explains the uniform faire......hot dogs, nachos, salad, cookies, brownies....and there was a buffet for the socialists among the economic elite back behind the suites.........

but the buffet in the M Club was/is pretty pedestrian. And over-priced. It seemed to be the exact same cafeteria fare that Food Services provided at any other place on campus.
I got real tired of going to the M Club and fighting the old gray head wives for a place in line and a for a seat to sit. I had one of them make my 4 year old daughter get up out a seat that was not claimed. After a few unfortunate words and a half finished meal.....we continue to this day to tailgate and cook for ourselves. I ain't Emeril, but I think I cook very well.....and the beers are cold in my tailgate area.
