...MSU would just give Valley enough money to get enough scholarship players and then pay them the rest when the time comes to play.
Of course, there'd be penalties and such if Valley drops us to play at somewhere else.

I wish they would just go ahead and combine MVSU with Delta State or at least end their football program.
With as little scholarships that they fund, ending the football program may be a better cost-effective option for the Delta Devils. Their other option is dropping down to Division II and maybe playing in the SIAC if they really want football.
