Had a picturesque INT vs Navy once.
Greene and the McCourtys credited Ron Girault for having them dialed-in for coverages and plays

It is amazing how in today's game- players that played like Greene and the others mentioned, would be getting flagged and sitting out games all the time. lol

He was one of best defensive players I remember playing here. Very talented but tremendous instincts.

Who was it that timed the snap count perfectly leaping over the center and sacking the QB just as they received the snap? That play and video was one for the ages. I think that was against UNC also, right?

Greene was one of my favorite players back in the mid-/late-2000's. I think, if anything, there was so much talk about all of the other players around him that he didn't get enough credit for his play. I thought he was great, though. Always did.

such a beast.

As mentioned above -- Greene, Lefeged, Girault, and mostly recently -- Christian Izien -- were straight up balllllllllers

Sometimes Flip makes a play that reminds me of Greene (6 INTs at RU).
Greene/Glen Lee from NewRo, and McCourtys born in Nyack, with Girault born in Spring Valley, made for a top ten secondary comprised of 2 stars from with 25 minutes of Tappan Zee Bridge.
That's player development
