Last year, Florida went 8-5 (4-4). This year they fired their coach with a 3-4 (2-2) record.
Last year MSU went 2-10 (0-8) and are now sitting at 4-4 (0-4) where we will not be favored to win any game left on our schedule.
I’m sick and tired of the low expectation crowd wanting to extend another year of this inability to coach a complete game. This is the SEC. Fire him now or else we need to just downgrade to a lesser conference where expectations aren’t going to hurt anyone’s feelings.

I think the bigger danger is that you have a lot of fans that are now in the “who gives a ****?” Camp
Not just generic faceless "fans", but students that stepped up, individual donors that stepped up, businesses that stepped up, staff that stepped up and all their efforts are about to be pi-ssed away and their support lost all over again. I watched as the crowd filed by our tailgate tonight on the way to their cars and there were some fans totally quiet and you could tell totally pi-ssed by the look on their faces and then there were others totally pi-ssed and ranting. He's losing more and more of them after every weekly debacle and it's going to be even harder this next time to reel them back in

That's exactly what I said leaving the game. Florida was my crashout game, after UT and that game I totally expected to lose this game. We have a moron for a coach, so it's just what's expected at this point (but we're poor ole State, not much we can do about it). Sickening that we (fans) spend so much money on this crap.

You left out flowtown, although he hasn't chimed in tonight that I've seen
I think Lebby’s losing @FlotownDawg.

My prediction, we are up four with time running out, taking a knee out of shotgun formation, we snap it over Shapen’s head and Arkansas runs it back for a touchdown as time expires. Anybody else have any other predictions?

I would fire Lebby on the 50 yard line 10 seconds after the game ended if I knew we could get Franklin.

We are clearly A LOT better than last year. So there's that.
Are we though? It sure doesn't feel like it right now. We just find new ways to lose. And it really doesn't matter if it's close or a blowout. A loss is a loss in the end.

So yeah, fire Lebby. And I'm done with Shapen. That guy is NOT a winner. He does not have what it takes to finish. Like I've said before... he folds like a cheap lawnchair under pressure.

Well, we are better. If you can't see that then you need to be institutionalized.
We’re better than last year. So what? Being better than last year isn’t some great accomplishment. It should be the absolute bare minimum expectation after one of the worst seasons in my lifetime. We can be better than last year and still not be where we should be.

Are you seriously going to sit here and say that what you’ve seen this season is acceptable?

Yes, we are clearly better than last year.

I'll leave it up to you to figure that out.

I'm frustrated and sad tonight, but yes, dubmass, this improvement is acceptable.

We are competitive with the best teams on the SEC. Yes.

If that's not obvious, you need more knowledge.

As bad as we were last year, it actually is quite an accomplishment. What I’ve seen this year is so much better than what I saw last year. I’m not happy with either, but I do recognize progress when I see it. I wonder why you don‘t. Interesting question that is.

We haven’t played any of the best teams in the SEC except A&M, and they dominated us.

Did they dominate us like they just dominated LSU?

Answer: NO

And if you have want to lessen extremely tight games with ranked Tennessee (who just destroyed Kentucky) and ranked Texas (who opened the season at #1) then more power to you Yancy.

We haven’t played Alabama, Georgia, or Ole Miss and we weren’t competitive with Texas A&M, dumbdick. How can you say we’re competitive with best teams in the SEC?

Florida isn’t good.
Texas isn’t good.
Tennessee is good, but they’re not one of the best teams in the SEC.

What in the blue hell are you talking about?!?

Hahahahaha You’re throwing up Texas’s preseason ranking and celebrating that we’re playing them close. Yeah, act like we haven’t had 2/3 of a season to find out that Texas and their “Heisman frontrunner” QB were overrated as hell to start the season. Idiot. Penn State was preseason #2 and fired their coach.

And yes… the LSU vs A&M game was similar to ours. LSU kept it close in the first half and A&M took over in the second half. Pretty much the same game actually. Neither of us were competitive with A&M in the 4th quarter.

A ton of words that added nothing to the debate.

I haven’t made an argument for or against Lebby. But you miserable 17s wanting instant change because yall obviously have such vast experience coaching…..go do a better job. I, personally, would love to have a buyout in the millions. Bye, you can keep all the **** in my office too. Don’t you threaten me with a good time.

however, this wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth is terrible. Part of me is thinking that the fan-base compounds the struggle of being an MSU fan….but I’m sure that’s at every school because every team has the worst fans….says each fan-base.

I give this team a little bit of slack and I’ll say they should be 6-2 right now. I don’t like moral victories though and 4-4 is too much slack. In this era of the game you shouldn’t be allowed year and years to build a program. This is where we should have been as a program last year, not 2-10.

Yes for sure but bad decisions like I could list them all but at the end don’t kick it to the electric punt returner and if you do be damn ready and prepared on special teams to make damn sure you get down field and tackle him. Or tackle him at all in this case. I mean 17 c’mon

Lose Shapen, like last year, and we’re exactly where we were last year. You should look in the mirror when suggesting institutionalization

As someone said last week, Vandy can become a national contender in 2 years but it's crazy to expect Lebby to win a SEC game in 2 years? Ultimately it's our fans losing mentality that killed this program.
