bitchin' and moaning about so and so whiffing all the time or popping up or not moving a runner along, make a trip to the batting cages. That'll humble you and shut you up.
Well I guess we will shut down talking about sports. If we aren’t out on the field with a bat, wearing pads and a helmet, or shooting free throws with the team then what’s the use talking about them right?

Last year, during All Star Weekend, I was a Defcon 1 level threat in the VR Home Run derby. The kids in line behind us were telling my kids how impressed they were as I was batting.

I was the humbler, not the humbled.***

My kids are both better at the sport they play ( baseball/basketball) than i ever was at the sane age. I tell them all the time that they know more than i do after years of private coaching. I never bt h after or during a game unless they play lazy. When i say never i mean never

If your not yelling at your kid during a game, how do they know you love them and how do the other parents know how good you used to be?

Wait, I'm supposed to be able to hit a ball now 40 years after I last swung at any, didn't realize that.

I thought that was what the players were for and why they get paid now plus have their scholarships, tutors, medical care, dorm or living allowance, individualized meal plans to maximize performance. Sorry, my bad............

Look damit, we all played little league, and probably coached, so just shut up.
It would be interesting to know about our baseball posters. I will start. I played little league and then coached little league for 13 total years when my kids were playing. Made a lot of good friends but still have a couple of parents that hate me from not pampering their screw up kid over 30 years ago.

That ad was after the previews and right before the feature presentation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the VHS tape. That's how I knew when to stop fast forwarding.

Also, went to the Putt-Putt batting cages yesterday with my stepson for father's day. I was not humbled. Stopped by academy for some batting gloves, but still used their sh!tty bats. First few swings were, indeed terrible, then I found my timing mechanism.
