Osby has given us nothing again and he has had minutes. Can't score,can't defend, and doesn't rebound.
Stansbury predictably throws in these guys at the 13 minute mark and the 9 minute mark to do NOTHING more than give the 35+ minute boys a breather before the media timeouts and you expect them to explode with production. These guys aren't getting meaningful minutes at all. Stansbury does this year after year and people always complain about the highly touted freshmens not producing. I'll give you an example, the bitching was EXACTLY the same during Jarvis and Ravern's freshmen years. Now they are playing 30+ minutes each and looky here, they are PRODUCING. Genius isn't it?
If you check they played a lot more tonight and didn't do crap. It doesn't matter when or how you play, you have to produce. Bost is by far the best player we have and he still makes freshman mistakes but we are bad at blocking out and we turn the ball over way too much to win on the road. Tenn is not that good, that is the sad part.
Well, you can't say we don't have the bodies on the bench, we do. However, Stans has failed/refused to match up with LSU twice and UT now when they've gone big on us. Tonight it really showed. The game was winnable if we'd even given a half assed effort on D and rebounds, but UT completely outplayed us in the 2nd half by doing nothing but cleaning up garbage. That is the sad part, watching an MSU team getting completely manhandled in the paint and doing nothing to counter it but continue to rain 3's.
going to produce if you put them in for longer? Are they somehow better players at other times in the game? Have you even considered the possibility that Ravern and Jarvis are producing now when they didn't as freshmens because they have become better players with a year or two of practice time?

dude but i'm not trying to flame, but anyone who thinks that elgin bailey should be playing more is either a) pulling the board's chain c34 style or b) not very intelligent, relating to basketball (or in general)
